RijksakademieOPEN 2017: Artists of the Rijksakademie in Amsterdam open their studio’s on 24, 25 and 26 November

The end of November 45 resident artists open the doors to their studio’s and present work to the public. Beside the studio presentations visitors can also attend performances, participate guided tours and view the film program. The public is given an opportunity to discover contemporary trends and innovations in the arts and meet with artists whose work they will later undoubtedly encounter in leading collections, exhibitions and biennials worldwide.

The Rijksakademie van beeldende kunsten in Amsterdam focuses on developing talent in the fine arts. We select and facilitate top talent and offer selected artists a platform for further development of their work. Presentation of the work and connections to an international network form a part of the two-year residency program. For many alumni the residency has led to their international breakthrough.
