Humanity is literally, metaphorically and categorically in motion as never before, and yet, the epistemologies of movement are little understood; movement is seen as a means to an end rather than a fundamental organizing mechanism of perception and understanding. However, what happens if we pay attention to the constancy of movement, from body systems to the tidal currents, from individual gestures to mass movements and migrations? How might this shape new methodologies for engaging complex shifting problems? How might the ever-moving fluidity of water make us think in new ways? How can water itself contribute to innovations in confronting growing inequalities and environmental degradation? How can we live with/in a liquid state?
